Verse (0:33):
Kaleidoscopes in my head
I lay awake in my bed
But I never learn my lesson
Kaleidoscopes in my heart
It’s doubt that pulls me apart
But I want the attention
Pre-chorus (0:56):
I feel like time is frozen
But I just keep on hoping
That I’ll find my way back, my way back
Chorus (1:12):
So sound the alarm in my head
Hanging on hopes by a thread
But it’s something I’ll never forget
Oh here we go again
Interlude (1:27)
Verse 2 (1:43):
I replay the image I see
In the mirror’s a version of me
But it’s something I’ll never be
I replay the voice in my head
When I lay awake in my bed
Oh I wish it were easy
Pre-chorus (2:08):
I feel like time is frozen
But I just keep on hoping
That I’ll find my way back, back
Chorus (2:24):
So sound the alarm in my head
Hanging on hopes by a thread
But it’s something I’ll never forget
Oh here we go again
Break (2:40)
Pre-chorus (2:54):
I feel like time is frozen
But I just keep on hoping
That I’ll find my way back, my way back
Bridge (3:12):
I get dizzy spinnin’ round
Wonder if we’ll all fall down
Faith in something I don’t see
Mirror images of me
Chorus (3:28):
So sound the alarm in my head
Hanging on hopes by a thread
But it’s something I’ll never forget
Oh here we go again
Chorus (3:44):
So sound the alarm in my head
Sound the alarm in my head
Sound the alarm in my head
Oh here we go again
Outro (4:00)
about
Straight out of QLD, Australia and into the cyberpunk depths of the near future comes Techlash, a project focusing on industrial, darksynth, synthwave, and other related genres. The goal is simple: to make dystopian dance music set for the near future where clandestine shadow operations take place at the speed of fibre-optic light within cyberspace.. And yet the devastation that occurs is enough to take down governments, breach impenitent citadels, and destabilize geopolitical megacorps.
Techlash’s latest single ‘Sound the Alarm’ sees him take a step back from hardened beats and into more sanguine sounds. The former metal guitarist never planned on this being more than an instrumental, but after falling in love with the track he knew it needed something more. An idea unfolded: he wanted an ethereal voice to sing about something darker to counter the brighter tone of the song. The lyrics were to match that dark tone and discuss overstimulation in the modern world.
‘Sound the Alarm (feat. CC)’ is released via Brutal Resonance Records in both digital and vinyl postcard formats. A vinyl postcard is printed just as a vinyl would be except it’s on a sturdy and durable, laminated postcard. The sound is lo-fi, but the product is unique and niche and plays on any record player. Not to mention collectable and good looking. Contains the single ‘Sound the Alarm (feat. CC)’. Only 25 made!

Wow Matt Fanale really brought it with this new single. Teaming up with Marie of Grabyourface was a perfect icing on the cake. This is a jam of hypnotic proportions and the message is you must move. Marie’s voice is a smoky sensual alien being both exotic and alluring. The single also has a really cool trance like bside and a holographic wavy Sawtooth remix. Turn the club speakers to 11 and feel it flow through you. preciousken

one time I was being attacked by a pack of rabid hyenas and then Klack came on. The entire pack ceased ripping my flesh from my body and we all proceeded to live harmoniously. my flesh also IMMEDIATELY healed. Vernal Trash
