Industrial metal project Decent News has unjustifiably released their first new set of singles since 2019, ‘Pushed Away / The Clush’. The primary trio responsible for this terrifying set of ordeals, Eddie LaFlash, Laken Stokes, and Caleb Moore, seek to spit out manifesto style ramblings through a synthetic concoction of electronic keys and hardened metal riffs. This overgrown boy band explores topics of unpolitical nature, of what they want to hear, of what they want to ramble on. There’s no foreplay here; just general teenage-riddled glee. Their songs include personal moments in their lives as they were yelled at by a basket case as they walked along railroad tracks, of childlike wonders of the world, and of a doctor that revolutionized the medical world by figuring out digestion by bothering a man with a hole in his stomach.

This is not the usual cannon fodder meant to make you think; this is simply a tale of a bunch of friends getting together to have fun, to jam, and to make the world go away. Even if but for a fleeting moment.
